VEDIC PERSPECTIVE - A three-part course in Vedic knowledge addressing our context, methodology and ultimate purpose.In part one, we trace the philosophical history of how we arrived at today's dominant worldview, mechanistic naturalism, through a contraction of the conceptual categories of the previous classical period. This clears the way to an understanding of the Vedic perspective, which would otherwise be unintelligible from the vantage point of modernity.Although the discussion appears to involve objective philosophical questions, in an unexpected plot twist, the discussion exposes the audience to the inner workings of their own thought processes and removes the troublesome layers of cognitive error at the root of materialistic illusion.This seminar series was delivered live in Saint Petersburg.
