dine nrtya-kīrtana, īśvara-daraśana

rātrye rāya-svarūpa-sane rasa-āsvādana

"In the daytime Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu engaged in dancing and chanting and then taking darsana of Śrī Jagannātha Deva. At night, in the company of His most confidential devotees, Rāmānanda Rāya and Svarūpa Dāmodara Gosvāmī, He tasted the nectar of the transcendental mellows of Śrī Krsna’s pastimes." (CC Antya 11.12)

rādhikāra bhāva yaiche uddhava-darśane

sei bhāve matta prabhu rahe rātri-dine

"Just as Rādhikā went mad at the sight of Uddhava, so Lord Caitanya was obsessed day and night with the madness of separation." (CC Ādi 4.108)

vṛndāvane āilā krsna — ei prabhura jñāna

krsnera viraha-sphūrti haila avasāna

At this time (when Sri Jagannatha resided for 9 days in Gundica), Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu felt that Lord Krsna had returned to Vrndāvana. Thinking this, His visions of separation from Krsna subsided. (CC Madhya 14.73)

Mahaprabhu told Sri Nityananda to preach in Bengal and not to come to Sri Jagannatha Puri for the Ratha Yatra every year with the other devotees. Nevertheless, transgressing Mahaprabhu's order, Sri Nityananda Prabhu used to travel to Sri Jagannatha Puri out of intense love for Mahaprabhu. It is the contrary nature of divine love that sometimes disregarding an order is more pleasing than obedience:

ājñā-pālane krsnera yaiche paritosa

preme ājñā bhāngile haya koti-sukha-posa

"If one carries out Krsna’s order, Krsna is certainly pleased, but if one sometimes breaks His order due to ecstatic love, that gives Him millions of times greater happiness."
(CC Antya 10.8 )
